USA Mitchell Cancer Institute’s Think Pink Tea is a free celebration of breast cancer awareness, a commitment to patients, survivors, advocates and the friends and family of those impacted by breast cancer. The Think Pink Tea is attended by patients, donors, media, and members of the community. Each year, MCI works diligently to make the event an enjoyable social experience for the attendees, featuring prominent guest speakers, delicacies, and a runway fashion show. Wardrobe and professional hair and make-up sponsors are secured to make the runway show a reality, and to cross-promote the partnership. The models that walk the runway each year are current patients, breast cancer survivors, physicians, and others who have been affected by cancer. The goal is to present a value-added event that benefits the participants and attendees, a celebration of awareness, achievement and triumph.

This award-winning event is presented by MCI and USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital of Mobile and has been recognized by the Public Relations Council of Alabama for its social and community impact.

There is no charge for this event. To RSVP, please email Vanessa McMillian at vmcmillian@health.southalabama.edu or call our events line beginning September 1, 2017, at 251-445-9691.
