The USA College of Arts & Sciences and the Dean of Students Office invites all members of the campus community to a Teach-In, WE ARE SOUTH: DEMOCRACY DAY on Friday, February 17 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Student Center Amphitheater (Rain Location: Student Center Ballroom).

Please join us for open conversations and dialogue about a variety of topics about democracy and its role in the academic and larger community.  Concurrent round table sessions led by both students and  faculty will focus upon a variety of topics and issues such as Media & Democracy, Immigration & Policy, Global Perspectives on Democracy, the U.S. Bill of Rights, and Education & Democracy.  Upon conclusion of the Teach-In, there will be a brief march through campus in support of dialogue, diversity, engagement and global democracy.
