Children who grew up Down the Bay, the area south of Government Street, have fond memories of the neighborhood. Learn more about growing up in the community through oral history interviews from the Down the Bay Oral History Project and artifacts from the I-10 Mobile River Bridge Archaeology Project and consider how childhood has (and hasn't) changed through time.

The exhibit is on display at the Ben May Library (701 Government Street) from April 26-May 31. It is curated by students in the Spring 2024 AN 435 Museum Methods in Archaeology Course.
